Applicants to this award will be examined on their:

  1. Knowledge of Gahwa
    • History
    • Traditions
    • Personal touch
  2. Gahwa preparation techniques in practice using traditional utensils
    • Gahwa roasting
    • Gahwa grounding
    • Gahwa boiling
    • Preparation and application of Gnad (optional)
  3. Gahwa serving techniques in practice
    • Etiquette
    • Poise
  4. Taste

Notes:

  1. Applicants are required to use beans provided by the Championships organisers.
  2. Further information on roasting profiles will be provided after participants’ registration.
  3. Detailed Rules & Regulations to be distributed following successful registration.
  4. This category is open to all individuals and representatives of F&B licensed institutions.
